Monte Carlo Motel

This place is a paradise for those who want a break between their journey. It feels like home away from home. The owner Peter is very friendly, knows how to provide Customer service and has kept the motel in great maintenance. If you want to learn how to provide a great hospitality, you have to visit here.

Great little motel, rooms are large with 2 queen size beds, microwave & mini fridge, very clean, the whole property is well maintained. There are barbecues all around and a large yard to let the dog out. Prices are very reasonable ($100/night in the season) and there is no extra charge for your dog. There are few restaurants around. The only let down was the closed pool due to health authority regulations (not their fault, it seems all pools are closed this season because of it). We would definitely stay again

Great place to stay, recently did a trip to the area and needed a night. Room was clean and bathrooms look like they have been recently updated. Pool available as well as laundry services. Was pretty quiet as well. Will deffinetly stay again.

This motel is clean, comfortable beds n clean linens. It is quiet and the best sleep of it rains... The management is nice and friendly....we had vehicle problems n needed a place urgently , we opted for this motel as there were reviews from repeat customers who stay there for work. You can see all their work trucks with logos parked outside. Most guests were super friendly with our vehicle broken and my bf trying to fix it, a few of them came to assist, boosting, diagnosing electric issues with any equipment they had. One lady brought us pizza....it was just an increduble experience. We are safey home in Calgary after hoping vehicle to Lordco in Kamloops and replacing water pump. I would sleep here again...

Typical small town old school motel. Nothing fancy. Room was clean and everything worked. Bed was comfortable. Also had a outdoor pool.

After having a comfortable stay and enjoying the outdoor pool on a super hot and smoky day I had paid in cash and remembered I had neglected to get a receipt which I immediately forgot to do again. I had secured the room reservation with my Visa and a month later there it was on my Visa statement. I called the motel and spoke with the owner who looked through the records and found our stay and immediately agreed to credit the charge on my Visa without resistance. I haven't got a bad thing to say about our experience there and moreover I applaud the honesty and cooperative nature of the owner. A clean, neat motel with good value for money.

Nice room, comfortable bed, quite clean. A little bit old. Couldn’t use the pool because there were so many people around, and children until 8 pm. Quite noisy and crowded in front of the door and the area but in the room it was ok.

The staff didn’t just accommodate us—they welcomed us like long-lost cousins showing up for a family BBQ. Within minutes, we had a clean, cozy room that smelled like fresh linen and second chances. Beds? Comfier than your aunt’s couch that everyone naps on after turkey dinner. No plywood nightmares here. Take note Golden BC Days In. Now here’s where things get spicy: I politely asked about the pool, assuming I’d be told it’s closed for the night. But no—the manager LEGEND says, “Go ahead, take a dip!” So there I was, floating under the stars like a Walmart James Bond, wondering why anyone stays anywhere else. Bonus highlight? The manager’s dog. A tiny, fluffy monarch who clearly runs the place. I’m not sure if it’s a dog or low-key Canadian royalty in disguise, but this little beast is living better than most humans. I half-expected to see it wearing a crown and sipping Evian from a crystal bowl. 10/10 would pet again. Super affordable, super friendly, and not a single haunted TV in sight. I honestly left wondering if I should move in permanently or at least send them a Christmas card. Monte Carlo Motel: Come for the beds, stay for the vibes, and maybe become best friends with the manager and their four-legged aristocrat.

Best motel I have stayed at ever. Super clean and well set up rooms. Good beds with good pillows and blankets. Carpet is good ( I just stayed at a different one where I didn't want to take of my shoes). Nice and new bathrooms. Plenty of space to put luggage. Nice size fridge and good coffee machine. Couldn't hear a thing from next door. Plenty of fresh mountain air coming into the room. Big TV. A&W next door as well as a restaurant. Kids seemed to love the pool. Incredible prize.

Great little pitstop for our family. We had a good night sleep and that's all we were looking for. Would recommend to others looking for a short stay. Staff are friendly.
